Shipping and dispatch - How will my parcel get to me?

To provide you with the cheapest shipping options, we offer two carrier services depending on your location: Sendle (displays as shipping at checkout) and Australia Post (display options are standard and express at checkout).

Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will vary depending on what you have ordered and your location. We will price the items based on the size, weight of the order and your location; this will be calculated at the checkout process.

We do not ship internationally.

Incorrect Address: Redshaw Native Bees is not responsible for return shipping if you enter the wrong shipping address during checkout. Please make sure you include your COMPLETE address when entering it in the checkout process. This includes your apartment or house number and correct postal code. WE WILL NOT POST TO PO BOXES.

Delivery Time: We ship orders weekly on a Wednesday at a minimum and we ship from Gladstone, Queensland. We use Sendle, a 100% carbon neutral delivery service for the majority of our orders and on occasion Australia Post if you live in a regional area or require express postage.

I’m new to stingless beekeeping, where do I start?

Welcome to the world of native bee keeping! But beware, it's addictive, once you start learning you never want to stop.

To get started I suggest purchasing a copy of 'The Australia Native Bee Book - by Tim Heard'. From there I would also recommend attending a workshop in your local area - https://sugarbag.net/events

The Australian Native Bee Association is excellent for connecting with other native beekeepers and staying up to date with the latest developments from the native bee industry.

"The ANBA promotes the conservation and sustainable use of all Australian native bees. ANBA achieves that by providing resources, disseminating information, supporting members and communicating with stakeholders."

I have a colony of stingless bees and I’m concerned about something, what do I do?

We always recommend that you contact the supplier where you bought the hive for advice. If this is not appropriate to your situation, we suggest you contact a local native bee keeper in your area. If you're in Central Queensland or you're not sure who to talk to please get in touch via our contact page or send us an email - redshawnb@gmail.com

I make an item unique to stingless beekeeping and believe more people should have access to it. Can I contact Redshaw Native Bees to potentially have the product displayed on this website?

As we make better networks locally and across Australia, the sharing of reliable knowledge and research is ever changing and forming the Australian Native Bee Industry. As a result, our methods and tools are also ever changing. Here at RNB we are always looking for new and innovative ways to improve our beekeeping practices and support other beekeepers. If you have an idea you want to share, please get in contact via our contact page or send us an email - redshawnb@gmail.com
